Purpose:
The Purpose of this blog is to, as with all other things, to bring glory to God.
"Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
~ 1 Corinthians 10:31
Beliefs:
God
There is one God, who is one in essence and three in person. The Godhead consists of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Each person is a distinct person and has their own work in Redemption, but they all are in perfect agreement and total unity. God is completely Holy. God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-present. He is perfectly righteous, perfectly just, and perfectly merciful. God is completely devoted to His glory and does everything for His glory. He made the universe and everything in it, and is in complete control over it.
Bible
The Bible in it's original writings of the 66 books of the new and old testament are the inspired Word of God. God over the course of over a thousand years directly inspired men through the Holy Spirit to write His word. Bible is complete and efficient for salvation and all things pertaining to God. The Scriptures are completely true in all that they speak. The events of the Bible are history and should be treated as such. The Bible is where the Christian communes with God and learns more about him led by the Holy Spirit. All beliefs and doctrines are to be tested by God's word. It is the Christians duty to read the Bible and hold fast to it.
The Gospel
The Gospel is that the wrath of God is against humanity for they have sinned against Him, broken His law, and failed to give him glory starting at the sin of Adam of Eve. But God the Father in his great mercy sent God the Son to become a man. This man is Jesus Christ. Jesus was born of a virgin and lived a perfect life in perfect obedience to God. He did many great signs and miracles, but was hung on a cross. There on the cross, Christ took the wrath of God for the sins of God's elect. Christ died and three days later was risen again showing his atonement was sufficient and securing the elect's future salvation. The risen Christ showed himself to the apostles for forty days and then taken up into heaven at the right hand of the Father where He intercedes for the saints as High Priest. Whoever believes in this Gospel by the Grace of God and Regeneration of the Holy Spirit will be saved from eternal Hell by the precious blood of the Son of God to the eternal paradise of the Kingdom of Heaven.
